point of extinction

I just spent two minutes looking for glasses that were on my face.

Hangin out outside by Sandburg. My first semester we deemed this area the “grassy knoll,” and then most of those friends started doing acid all the time (don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if my friends do it but every weekend and expecting me to join in?) and now some of them are facing multiple felonies, so we don’t hang out.

It’s a lovely day. I’m glad I opted to sit outside with my laptop than go sit in the library.

historysimplified:

This is what happens when I write, mostly because I know not enough people read even though seemingly boring things like history can be made interesting if they’re presented the right way without sacrificing scholarly research and content.

This is my friend Lucas and he writes about historical things and it’s pretty neat and if you like historical things and people who are pretty neat, you should probably follow him.

I might have the easiest job in the world. I’ve been playing mahjong, solitaire, bejeweled, and word drop for the last three hours and I will continue for another three.

And then (starting at or after 10pm) I’ll have to move a bunch of tables, chairs, and potentially risers for at least an hour. That part sucks, but I can’t complain because I’ve been doing absolutely nothing since I started my shift.
